Your members bought the licences. Now give their people the skills, under your name.
With an Industry Association account, your members take AI New Zealand's certificate courses for Microsoft Copilot, Claude and AI leadership on your own course page. Your association chooses how it benefits: a member discount or a revenue share.
ChatGPT is bookmarked. Copilot is activated. A few people are doing genuinely impressive things. Most aren't.
It's a familiar pattern in businesses of every size. The licence is paid for, the tool is switched on, and the work looks much the same as it did last year. Meanwhile someone has been told they're now responsible for AI, and the board is waiting for a plan.
A licence isn't a capability.
An industry association is well placed to close that gap. You know the sector, your members trust you, and you're not selling a licence. Neither are we: we're independent and vendor neutral, so our courses teach the tools your members already pay for.
Copilot for M365
About 5 hours, $235 + GST. For anyone in a member business with a Microsoft 365 Copilot licence, whether they're new to AI or already the person the team asks. They learn to work safely inside their organisation's data, hand real jobs to Copilot in Word, Outlook, Forms, Excel, PowerPoint and Teams, and use Researcher, Analyst and custom agents.
They come away confident using Copilot in their everyday work, safely and responsibly.
Claude at Work
About 3 hours, $235 + GST. For knowledge workers with a paid Claude plan. They build an AI that knows their organisation, writes in their voice and follows their standards, practising on a folder of their own real work.
They come away able to hand whole jobs to Claude while they keep the judgement.
AI Leaders Course
About 10.5 hours, $495 + GST. For the operations, finance or people leader in an organisation of 50 to 500 people who has landed responsibility for AI and has to face a board. They learn to set the rules, bring their people with them, choose the work and the tools worth paying for, and keep it all defensible.
They finish with a ninety day plan they wrote themselves, marked by an AI New Zealand assessor to a published standard.
All three are self-paced and end in a certificate from AI New Zealand that anyone can verify online. Copilot for M365 and Claude at Work certify on completion: every lesson done and every quiz answered correctly. The AI Leaders Course adds practical exercises and a final assessment marked by a person.
A licence isn't a capability.
Member discount or revenue share
When you apply, you choose one of two ways for your association to benefit:
- A member discount. Members pay the public price less an agreed percent, so a Copilot or Claude at Work seat comes in under $235 + GST for your members, and an AI Leaders seat under $495 + GST. A visible saving, and a reason to join.
- A revenue share. Members pay the public price, and your association receives an agreed percent of the fee, excluding GST, for every member seat bought by card on your course page. It's tallied in your account admin month by month, paid monthly once the balance is over $250, and a smaller balance carries over. A refunded seat is taken back.
The percent is agreed when our directors approve your application. All prices exclude GST.
What an Industry Association account gives you
- Your own course page. Course pages, emails and certificates can carry your name, logo and colours. Certificates are still issued by AI New Zealand.
- Members buy by card on your page. No invoicing to manage. Members sign in with an 8-digit code we email them, so there are no passwords.
- Their work stays theirs. You see who has a seat and in which course, never what they wrote.
- Monthly content for your member newsletter, if you'd like it.
- Nothing to sign. Your administrators confirm the Training Service Agreement with a tick box when they sign in.
And Foundations, for everyone else
Not every member's team has a Copilot or Claude licence yet, and they don't need one for AI at Work Foundations: the rules before the tools, in about three hours, for $95 + GST. It's the natural first step before either tool course. It's one price for everyone, so no member discount applies to it. If you choose the revenue share, you earn your share on it too.
Who qualifies
Industry Association accounts are for official industry bodies. Local business groups don't qualify. If you're an organisation training your own people, a Business account (6 to 49 people) or a Corporate account (50 or more) is the right fit. See all account types.
