Why certify

Trained is not the same as ready.

The question behind most AI training is simple: can we trust this person with our AI tools and our data? Certify answers it with courses built around your people's own work, and a certificate anyone can check.

Knowledge before access.

AI at Work Foundations covers what someone should know before they are handed a licence: what they may put into a tool, what it can already reach, how it fails, and what stays their job.

Applied to their own work.

No tool tours. People practise on their own tasks: practical exercises in their own role in Foundations and AI Leaders, and real jobs handed to Claude or Copilot in the tool courses.

A certificate anyone can check.

Every certificate has a public verification page. Foundations and AI Leaders end in a final assessment decided by an AI New Zealand assessor to a published standard. The tool courses certify on completion.

Every curriculum starts with a person.

Every course curriculum is drafted by a person, anchored in our domain knowledge, research, and local and international best practice.

65+

business leaders reviewed the AI at Work Foundations curriculum before it launched.

Vendor neutral. Certificates are issued by AI New Zealand and are not affiliated with, or endorsed by, Microsoft, Anthropic, OpenAI or any other AI vendor.

Accounts

Three ways to set it up.

An account can cover any of the four courses, and each one gives your organisation its own course page. Pick the one that matches your size, or how you reach the people you want to train.

6 to 49 people

Business account

For a team or a whole small business. Register online from any course's team page, and we review it and set the account up.

  • Your own course page, under your name and branding
  • Seats by invitation, by approving requests, or automatically by work email up to a cap you set
  • The Business account rate from the first seat, on one invoice
  • Facilitated groups: your key contact can lead your people through AI at Work Foundations together

$189 + GST a seat, $159 from 10 seats. The AI Leaders Course is $295.

Set up a Business account
50 or more people

Corporate account

For larger organisations rolling training out in waves. Our directors review every application before anything is set up.

  • Everything in a Business account
  • White label options: course pages, emails and certificates in your name and colours
  • Priced at your volume. A committed annual volume earns the tier price even when you train in cohorts
  • From 100 seats, alignment to your AI guidelines and the 30 and 60 day check-in are included

$139 + GST a seat from 50, $125 from 100, $109 from 500. The AI Leaders Course is $295.

Apply for a Corporate account
Official industry bodies

Industry Association account

Offer the courses to your members on your own course page. Local business groups do not qualify.

  • Your own course page, with white label options
  • A member discount, where members pay the public price less a percent, or a revenue share, where you receive a percent of each seat fee
  • Revenue share paid monthly once your balance is over $250
  • Monthly content for your member newsletter, if you would like it

Your member discount or revenue share is agreed when we approve the application.

Apply for an Industry Association account

Five people or fewer? Buy up to five seats by card on any course page, at the standard price.

Register or apply

Business accounts register online. Corporate and Industry Association accounts apply, and our directors approve them.

Confirm the agreement

Your administrators confirm the Training Service Agreement with a tick box when they sign in. Nothing to sign.

Order seats

We invoice each block of seats at your rate, with your purchase order number on it. Seats open once it is paid.

Your people start

They take up their seats and start straight away. You follow their progress from your account admin.

Inside your account

Built for the person who answers for the training.

Who has done it, how they did, and whether it is being used at work. Without anyone reading over your people's shoulders.

Progress reporting.

Your People page shows each person's course, registration date, progress by section, completion date, outcome and certificate date, plus every facilitated group they have completed.

Answers stay private.

You see progress and outcomes, never answers, transcripts, feedback or assessor comments. That is what lets people write honestly about their own work.

Your AI policy, built in.

Included from 100 seats

Upload your AI policy and guidelines. We turn them into an assessment criterion, your administrator confirms it reflects your policy, and we approve it. On Foundations and AI Leaders the assessor then weighs it alongside the published standard, so nobody is taught one standard and handed another. The certificate can say so.

In your own work.

Foundations lessons end with an "In your own work" question about how your workplace actually runs. Answers save to each person's own course notes, private to them, and the practical exercises are done in their own role rather than a case study's.

30 and 60 day check-ins.

Included from 100 seats

Thirty and sixty days after each certificate, a short email check-in asks what people are using and what has stopped them. Each person gets their own summary, and you get a cohort report: response rates and themes, never one person's answers, with small groups held back rather than shown.

Your name and colours.

Every account has its own course page. On Corporate and Industry Association accounts, course pages, emails and certificates can carry your name, logo and colours, and check-in emails can come from your own domain.

Seats that wait for people.

Reassign a seat any time before it is claimed. Seats stay available for 12 months, we remind your key contact at least 30 days before any lapse, and each person has at least 12 months to finish.

Certificates anyone can verify.

Every certificate can be checked on Certify's verification page, so an employer or client can confirm it is genuine.

From 100 seats, policy alignment and the 30 and 60 day check-in are included. Below 100 seats, both are available as fixed add-ons.

Pricing

One ladder, one discount.

Per seat, by volume. Business and Corporate accounts pay the account rate from the first seat. Individuals, and teams of up to five buying by card, pay the standard rate.

AI at Work Foundations, Claude at Work and the Microsoft Copilot Course

SeatsStandardAccount rate
1 to 9$235$189
10 to 49$199$159
50 to 99$175$139
100 to 499$155$125
500 or more$135$109

Accounts pay 20 percent less at every volume.

The AI Leaders Course

SeatsStandardAccount rate
1 to 4$495$295
5 or more$295$295

From 100 seats, two things are included.

Alignment to your own AI guidelines, and the 30 and 60 day check-in with the cohort report. Below 100 seats, both are fixed add-ons.

Commit to a year, train in cohorts.

A committed annual volume earns the tier price even when it is delivered in cohorts. You do not have to put 300 people through at once to be priced as 300 people.

Facilitated groups: $109 a person.

For AI at Work Foundations, led by your key contact for 5 to 10 people at a time, by invoice. How groups work

Industry associations.

Members pay the public price less an agreed member discount, or the public price with an agreed share of each fee paid to your association.

All prices are in New Zealand dollars and exclude GST.

Facilitated groups

Take your team through Foundations together.

Once your key contact has completed AI at Work Foundations, they can lead groups of 5 to 10 of your people through it, in a room together or on a call. It suits teams who learn best by talking it through, including people who are new to AI.

  • Set it up from your account admin. Name the group, add your people, and set the schedule with a room or a call link. Once we approve it, everyone gets calendar invites and their own link.
  • Sessions are built for discussion. Each lesson's key point goes on the screen with an "In your own work" question about how your own workplace runs, and you move the group on when it is ready.
  • Everyone can catch up. Each person has their own page on their phone or laptop, with the lessons, quizzes and practical exercises for every section the group has reached.
  • A record when you finish. When you close the group, your People page records who completed it and when. You see who has answered, never what they wrote.

Group licence

$109 per person + GST

By invoice. Five to ten people a group, so $545 to $1,090 + GST.

  • For the key contact of a Business or Corporate account
  • The facilitator takes the full course first, at your account rate
  • No certificate for group members. Anyone who wants one takes the full course

Good to know

Frequently asked questions.

Can we see our people's answers?

No. Your People page shows progress, completion, outcome and certificate date. Answers, transcripts, feedback and assessor comments stay private to each person, unless they ask us in writing to share them or the law requires it.

Which account do we need?

Six to 49 people: a Business account, set up online. Fifty or more: a Corporate account. An official industry body offering the courses to its members: an Industry Association account. Five or fewer: buy seats by card on the course page.

Do our people need an AI licence?

Not for AI at Work Foundations or the AI Leaders Course. Claude at Work needs a paid Claude plan that includes Cowork, and the Microsoft Copilot Course needs a Microsoft 365 Copilot licence.

Is it an accredited qualification?

No. Certificates are issued by AI New Zealand. Foundations and AI Leaders rest on a written final assessment decided by an AI New Zealand assessor to a published standard. Claude at Work and the Copilot course certify on completion: every lesson done and every quiz passed. Every certificate can be verified online.

Where is our people's information kept?

In Sydney, Australia. Some of our service providers process information in the United States, including Anthropic for AI-generated feedback. We do not use learner material or your guidelines to train any AI model, and we use providers whose terms do not permit them to. See the privacy statement.

What happens to seats nobody uses?

A seat stays available for 12 months. You can reassign it until it is claimed, and we remind your key contact at least 30 days before any seats lapse. Once someone claims a seat, they have at least 12 months to finish.

Do group members get a certificate?

No. A facilitated group records each person's participation on your People page. Anyone who wants the certificate takes the full course and sits the final assessment.

Is there a contract to sign?

Nothing to sign. Your administrators confirm our Training Service Agreement with a tick box when they sign in to your account admin. Read the agreement first.
